When you are in good physical health, your body performs best. Good mental health means you are able to deal with everyday stresses and achieve personal goals. Many problems such as trauma, stress, and sleep problems can affect your mental health. You will not be able to prevent mental health status, but you can take steps to protect and support your mental health throughout your life.



Take Plenty of Sleep
 


Sleep is really important for our physical and mental health. Sleep is the information that helps control the chemicals in our brain. This chemical is important for managing our mood and emotions. If we do not get enough sleep, we may begin to feel depressed or anxious.



Eat well




Eating well is not just important for our body, but it is important for our mind. Some mineral deficiencies like iron and vitamin B12 deficiency can give us less mood. Try to eat a balanced diet. If you are particularly acute or anxious, try to limit or caffeine because it can make you feel awake and anxious.



Avoid Smoking, Drugs, and Alcohol
